How it works...

Take the Internet route with vePipe

Introducing a VoIP solution for the business client, and you can keep your existing PBX system.

Take advantage of the low cost VoIP technology offers, without replacing your phone system.

vePipe is designed for the business client who owns and operates their own PBX systems. In the past, companies would order T-1's or PRI from the local phone company to carry their inbound and outbound calls, which were routed over the P.S.T.N. (Public Switching Telephone Network).

vePipe Before

vePipe allows the customer-supplied PBX device to provide the user with the features and capabilities they require and expect in a phone system, including voicemail, call waiting, multiple extensions, and other traditional features. The difference is in how the calls are routed. vePipe carries all inbound and outbound calls over the Internet rather than the PSTN, allowing for significant cost savings, using VoIP technology.

vePipe After

Customers purchasing PRI from the local phone company typically base the size of the order on the number of peak concurrent calls during a given day. Pipes are ordered in the same manner. If a customer believes they will have 10 simultaneous calls, they may order 10-13 Pipes. (1 call takes up 1 Pipe) If they have 13 Pipes and all are full, the 14th call will receive a busy signal. Through an online interface, customers can increase or decrease their total number of Pipes, in real-time, as often as they want.
